On July 5, 2011 Poland approved a new program: "The promotion of investment of considerable importance for the Polish economy for 2011-2020". The goal of the program is to increase innovation and competitiveness of the Polish economy by supporting new investments by Polish and foreign companies.
The program budget reaches ca PLN 727 million in 2011-2020 - the state budget funds allocated to support the creation of new jobs and new investments.
Support will be granted to companies who intend to invest in the following priority sectors: electronics, biotechnology, R&D automotive, aviation, modern services, and those who are planning new investments in production other than the above sectors with a minimum cost of eligible PLN 1 billion and create at least 500 new jobs.
